Though outdoor locations can provide beautiful and diverse backgrounds, it can often lead to more preparation for parents and create stress when the goal is to enjoy your experience while still documenting a new chapter.

My approach is to give gentle guidance throughout the session rather than attempt posing. Children, especially babies are naturally active and love to move. My passion in photography is to capture their unique personalities, because as a mother myself I know I will want to remember each exciting stage that is shaping my tiny humans. At home sessions are especially fun when we plan to do a simple activity such as playing with toys, baking a treat together, or pulling out a fun arts & crafts project. This not only keeps them busy and engaged, but creates a meaningful experience for mom & dad.
