Some weddings feel like they're straight out of a storybook, and Abree and Jessie's big day at Willow Grove was exactly that — soft, romantic, and beautifully timeless.
Set against the charming backdrop of this vintage-style venue tucked away in Emmett, Idaho, every detail of the day felt intentional and effortlessly elegant. From the roman statues to the antique-inspired decor and blooming florals, Emmett Willow Grove provided the perfect canvas for capturing their love story.
Abree was a vision in her flowing gown with lace & beaded details, complete with delicate vintage accessories that tied into the venue’s rustic charm. Jessie, equally dashing in a classic suit with modern flair, couldn’t take his eyes off her — and honestly, neither could we.
Telling Their Love Story
I started by capturing all the small details — the intricate lace on Abree’s gown, the soft glint of antique decor, and the perfectly placed seats among the willow trees. Every element of Abree and Jessie's wedding at Emmett Willow Grove was a perfect blend of western charm and romantic elegance.
Set on a peaceful estate located in Emmett, Idaho, this vintage-inspired venue felt like something out of an old love letter — full of character, history, and heartfelt moments waiting to be captured. The décor was rooted in rustic western antiques: worn leather trunks, horseshoes tucked into centerpieces, and vintage chandeliers that glowed softly as the toasts were given.
Inside a softly lit bridal suite, Abree was surrounded by her closest people, laughter echoing between sweet memories and teary smiles. Her maid of honor could barely hold it together as she watched Abree step into her dress, eyes brimming with love and pride.
What made the moment even more special was seeing both of Abree’s moms there with her — one helping secure her simple and elegant earrings, the other gently clasping the diamond necklace around her neck. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room, including mine. These were the moments — full of warmth, tears, and laughter — that set the tone for the entire day.
First Look
Then came the first look with both of her dads — each reaction beautiful in its own way. As they turned around and saw her for the first time, the emotion on their faces said everything. There was so much pride, love, and joy wrapped into that one moment. It was an honor to witness and capture something so personal and full of heart.
The ceremony took place outside, in a sunny grove beneath sweeping willow trees. Golden light filtered through the leaves as Abree walked down the aisle, and it felt like something out of a dream. Soft draping hung from the branches, and guests were surrounded by nature, love, and quiet anticipation. Jessie’s face when he saw her said everything.
After the vows, the celebration moved into a reception space lit with twinkling lights and the glow of early evening. The contrast of rustic charm and rich, romantic tones made every photo feel like a page from a storybook. From their emotional first dance to the joyful toasts and laughter-filled night, every part of the day was overflowing with love.
Golden hour hit just right, casting a warm, dreamy light across the grove. We snuck away with the couple for some intimate portraits under the willows and by the old barn, and those moments turned out to be some of our favorite frames of the day — full of quiet joy and love.
Their ceremony under twinkle lights and the reception filled with laughter, vintage table settings, and heartfelt toasts felt like a celebration not only of their love, but of everything simple and beautiful in life.
