Is my home ‘photo-worthy’?
Absolutely. You do not need a Pinterest-perfect house! I work with natural light, bring minimal equipment, and guide you on the best spots in your home for photos—whether it’s your bedroom, living room, nursery, or even a cozy corner with great window light. Your home doesn’t need to be spotless, just lived in and full of love.
What if my kids are wild or uncooperative?
That’s totally normal, and expected! In-home sessions are designed to be relaxed and go-with-the-flow. Being in a familiar environment helps children feel more comfortable and natural. I’ll guide the session with gentle direction and give plenty of space for play and real interaction. Some of the best photos come from those unscripted, real-life moments.
How long does a session take?
Sessions typically last 60–90 minutes, allowing time for breaks, outfit changes, diaper changes, or nursing. Newborn sessions may run a little longer to accommodate baby’s needs. I never rush—you’ll have plenty of time to settle in, relax, and enjoy the moment.
Can we include pets or grandparents?
Of course! Pets are part of the family too, and I love including them when possible. If you’d like to include grandparents or other family members who live with you (or are visiting), just let me know ahead of time so I can plan accordingly.

Whether we’re in your cozy living room, nursery, or backyard, I’ll guide you to the best light and most flattering angles to bring out the beauty in your everyday environment. I don’t bring studio lights or props—just my camera, experience, and a love for capturing real, heartfelt moments.
